Steam Will Removing a Game From My Library Make Me Have to Buy It Again
If yous DELETE a game from your steam library, are you forced to buy it again in the time to come?
There is a game in my library that has a toxic playerbase. I am considering deleting the game from my steam library. Not uninstalling, deleting. If I practise and then, will I exist forced to purchase it once more in the future if I choose to give information technology a millionth adventure?

No, you can restore it to your account later. I did it and Steam wouldn't even let me buy the game again, only restore information technology. I think it'southward to end cheaters in online games from simply removing games from their accounts and re-buying them.

I think information technology'south to stop cheaters in online games from simply removing games from their accounts and re-ownership them.
Not a bad theory, but I don't think that's it because information technology's non linked to purchase, information technology's linked to your steam account.
If anything it'due south merely there so people don't have to buy the game again afterwards buying it the first time, and to create less drama with support when someone wants a game they removed back.

Just hibernate it and/or just not play it? It's non gonna hurt y'all to have it sit there and not be played

Not similar anyone is forcing you lot to purchase it again, merely obviously if you want it once again you have to pay for it
