To make these roast beef sliders, you'll first need some McKenzie Natural Artisan Deli Roast Beef and Swiss Cheese. I used about 16 slices of each, but you could use a little more or less depending on how large your slider rolls are.

I was inspired by French Onion Soup while make these sliders so decided to add some quick caramelized onions to these roast beef sliders.

To make the French Onions for the sliders, place a little butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and cook until the onions are soft and browned and start to caramelize.

Stir in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce and continue cooking until the liquid is slightly reduced. I used A LOT of chopped onion, but feel free to cut the quantity in half if you're not a huge onion fan.

Instead of beef broth you could also use a little beer or wine for a fun grown up roast beef slider. :)

You'll also need some slider rolls. I used two packages of Hawaiian rolls. They are soft and easy to work with since you can cut them in half all at once. Easy!

Place the bottom part of the rolls in a large baking dish. Top with half of the Swiss Cheese, Roast Beef, then remaining Swiss Cheese and roll tops.

In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and salt until combined. Gently brush the melted butter mixture over the top of the rolls.

Place the sliders in the oven, and bake until the cheese has melted and the rolls are toasted and browned on top. My family devoured these sliders in like 5 minutes. Will be making more soon!

To see how quick these sliders come together watch the quick video we put together of them…

These sliders are great on their own, or heat up some extra beef broth for dipping! My kids loved dipping them like French Dip sandwiches. Delish!
